Steve was a Hall of Fame athlete in high school, excelling in football, baseball and basketball. His son, Scott, was an all star quarterback in high school and is now a head coach. Steve has coached youth football and baseball and also is involved with ice hockey. He currently works as a volunteer on his son's coaching staff. Steve is an avid golfer who spent the Millennium with Mickey Mouse and regularly goes to the NCAA Final Four. A former member of his local school board, he has experienced sky-diving together with his wife, Maureen.
