Mike is a 2001 graduate of West Virginia University who was a successful athlete in three sports in the Cape-Atlantic League. He continued to play baseball in the Atlantic County Baseball League until he threw out his arm. At WVU, he did play-by-play of many sports and reported on others, both on radio and television. His favorite trip with the Mountaineers was to New Orleans, though he also got a few days in Hawaii that were enjoyable.
