If there was a Cape-Atlantic League Hall of Fame, Jim would be one of the first inducted. A three-sport star in high school and college, he had great success as a high school coach in football, basketball and softball as well as junior college basketball. A retired educator and a grandfather, he has been broadcasting local sports for decades, on television and radio. Jim still works as a softball umpire and is spending more time traveling with his wife, Peg, who also retired as a teacher. One of his three children, Jim, is counting the years until he reaches 50 and can join the PGA Senior Tour. Jim and Peg plan to visit the Phillies at Spring Training every year.
