Thursday, April 30th
Girls Lacrosse (6-0) defeated Our Lady of Mercy, 21-4
Katie Feariheller scored 4 times and had 4 assists. Sarah Marcolongo, Lacey Nicholl and Jen Staab each scored 3 times.
Coed Golf (8-1) defeated Atlantic City, 153-172
Matt Lombardi shot a blistering, one-under 34, including a pair of birdies, at Greate Bay. Jared Ash and Matt Galownia each carded a 38.
Boys Tennis (5-2) defeated Vineland, 4-1
Dan Barrus, Charlie Nussbaum and Brandon George all won in straight sets.
Wednesday, April 29th
Coed Golf (7-1) defeated Hammonton, 156-185
Matt Lombardi shot a 37 at Greate Bay with Jared Ash and Joe Massaglia each getting a 39.
Boys Lacrosse (6-3) lost to St. Augustine, 13-1
Josh Crego scored the only goal as OCHS fell behind by 8-0 to the undefeated Prep.
Boys Tennis (4-2) defeated Hammonton, 4-1
Dan Barrus, Charlie Nussbaum and both doubles teams won in straight sets.
Baseball (4-7) lost to Egg Harbor Township, 8-7
The Raiders rallied from an 8-2 deficit to get within one run. Vinnie Murphy doubled for OCHS.
Softball (2-5) lost to Egg Harbor Township, 4-1
Gina Favinger struck out 10 and limited EHT to 3 hits. But OC committed 3 errors and got only 3 hits, including doubles by Morgan Bogushefski and Shannon O'Neill.
Tuesday, April 28th
Boys Tennis (3-2) defeated Absegami, 5-0
The Raiders quaqlified for the NJSIAA Group 3 Tournament as all three singles players - Dan Barrus, Charlie Nussbaum and Brandon George - won by 6-0,6-0 scores.
Monday, April 27th
Coed Golf (6-1) defeated Atlantic City, 159-168 (Brigantine Links)
Matt Lombardi shot a 37 at Brigantine Links with Matt Galownia getting a 39 as OCHS qualified for the NJSIAA Group 3 Tournament.
Boys Lacrosse (6-2) defeated Oakcrest, 13-4
Josh Crego scored 3 times and had 3 assists. Marc Impagliazzo also had 3 goals.
Boys Tennis (2-2) defeated Atlantic City, 5-0
Dan Barrus and Charlie Nussbaum both won by 6-0,6-0 scores.
Baseball (4-6) defeated Atlantic City, 8-0
Sophomore Koyla Stephenson pitched a 7-inning shutout, allowing just 6 hits. Sean Feeney had a home run and single, Joe Garrison and Vinnie Murphy each had 2 singles.
Softball (2-4) defeated Atlantic City, 5-0 (9 innings)
Gina Favinger pitched a 2-hit shutout over 9 innings, striking out 9. Nicole Mangine was the first of 5 Raiders to cross the plate in the 9th.
Saturday, April 25th
Baseball Classic at Cumberland:
Baseball (2-6) lost to Pennsville, 7-6
Brian Longo had 2 doubles, Joe Garrison and Tyler Reich each had 2 singles. The Raiders allowed 5 unearned runs.
Baseball (3-6) defeated Woodbury, 25-4 (5 Innings)
In the third place game, Reich doubled and singled and Connor Ortolf had a pair of singles. John Huff struck out 8 in 3 innings to get the win in relief.
Friday, April 24th
Girls Lacrosse (5-0) defeated Absegami, 18-1
Sarah Marcolongo and Lacey Nicholl each scored 3 goals and Quori Allard had 2 goals and 5 assists.
Coed Golf (5-1) defeated Egg Harbor Township, 154-166
The Raiders finally got some golf weather as Matt Lombardi shot a 36 at Greentree with Joe Massaglia and Brandon Bartley each shooting 39.
Boys Lacrosse (5-2) defeated Absegami, 15-1
Josh Crego scored 4 times with Trevor Allen added 3.
Boys Tennis (1-2) lost to Egg Harbor Township, 3-2
Dan Barrus rallied to defeat EHT's No. 1 singles player Keith Goldstein, 2-6,6-1,6-2, but the Eagles won the team victory. It was the first time in 4 years that Goldstein had lost a CAL match on the court. His only previous loss came when he withdrew because of illness. The second doubles team of Alex Huffard and Zach Shutz were straight set winners for OCHS.
Baseball (2-5) lost to Millville, 5-2
Sean Feeney doubled for the Raiders but they couldn't prevent Millville from improving to 8-0. Mike Trout homered for the Thunderbolts.
Boys Track (1-3) at Penn Relays (Philadelphia)
Brett Johnson finished 4th in the High School Boys Mile Championship. Jeremy Rae of Canada won and set a Penn Relays record.
Softball (1-4) lost to Vineland, 14-0
The Clan's Leanne Miller retired all 21 OCHS batters for a perfect game victory. She struck out 11.
Thursday, April 23rd
Coed Golf (4-1) lost to Mainland, 157-170 (Greate Bay)
Jared Ash shot a 40 and Matt Lombardi a 42 at Greate Bay but the Raiders suffered their first defeat to the unbeaten Mustangs.
Boys Tennis (1-1) at CAL Tournament
Dan Barrus defeated Middle Township's Joel Novick in straight sets but lost in the semifinals, 7-6,6-2, to Chaz Berenato of St. Augustine. In doubles, Dan Hiltner and Kyle Redmond lost to St. Augustine in the quarterfinals in straight sets.
Baseball (2-4) lost to Mainland, 11-5
Rob Zauck had two doubles and a single for the Raiders, who committed 5 errors. Mainland scored in every inning but the third.
Softball (1-3) lost to Mainland, 13-3
Gina Favinger hit her 2nd home run of the season in a 3-run third inning that cut the Mustangs' lead to 7-3.
Wednesday, April 22nd
Coed Golf (4-0) at Absegami - postponed
Girls Lacrosse (4-0) at Mainland - postponed until 5/15
Boys Tennis (1-1) at CAL Tournament (Vineland) - postponed until 4/23
Baseball (2-3) at Vineland - postponed until 5/12
Softball (1-2) vs Vineland - postponed until 4/24
Tuesday, April 21st
Coed Golf (4-0) defeated Hammonton, 161-170
Matt Galownia shot a 38, including a pair of birdies, and Jared Ash shot a 39 at Pinelands as the Raiders remained undefeated.
Boys Tennis (1-1) at CAL Tournament (Vineland)
Dan Barrus defeated Dan Talasnik of Oakcrest and Varun Patel of Absegami in straight sets to advance to the quarterfinals. In doubles, Dan Hiltner and Kyle Redmond rallied to win a three-set match and move into the 2nd round.
Girls Track (2-2) defeated Hammonton, 87-53
Kendell Davis, Francesca Babore and Jordan Ippolito each doubled. Davis finished first in the 100 and 200 meters, Ippolito won both hurdles events and Babore took the 400 meters and the long jump. Babore also ran the anchor leg for the Raiders' victorious team in the 4x400 relay.
Boys Track (1-3) defeated Hammonton, 81-59
Brett Johnson won both the 800 and 1600 meters for the Raiders. Joe Bonato finished first in the 200 meters and Miles Schoedler won the 3200. Jason Chu finished first in the long jump, Mike Oberg won the pole vault and OCHS swept the throwing events - Jerome McKeiver winning the shot put, Jack Stephenson the javelin and Ryan Impagliazzo the discus.

Baseball (2-3) at Atlantic City - postponed until 5/2

Monday, April 20th
Boys Lacrosse (4-2) defeated Egg Harbor Township, 10-6
Josh Crego scored 4 times with Trevor Allen and Jeremiah Bailey each getting 3 goals as the Raiders braved the rain and wet conditions.
Girls Lacrosse (4-0) at Egg Harbor Township - postponed until 4/21
Coed Golf (3-0) at Absegami - postponed until 4/22
Boys Tennis (1-1) vs Absegami - postponed until 4/28

Girls Lacrosse (4-0) defeated Haddonfield, 14-13 2OT
Sarah Marcolongo scored her 3rd goal with 5 seconds left in the 2nd overtime to provide OC with its 4th straight win. Lacey Nicholl had 5 goals and Katie Feariheller also scored 3 times.
Boys Track (0-3) finished 5th at Woodbury Relays
The quartet of Miles Schoedler, Mike Gavin, Andrew DeMaria and Brett Johnson won the distance medley relay in Group 3.
Girls Track (1-2) finished 13th at Woodbury Relays

Baseball (2-3) lost to Westerville North OH, 11-5 (Cocoa Expo FL)
Vinnie Murphy had 3 hits and Brian Longo had a triple. OCHS fell behind by 6 runs in the 1st inning.
Tuesday, April 14th
Baseball (2-2) defeated Wagner NY, 4-2 (Cocoa Expo FL)
Connor Ortolf pitched a complete game 3-hitter, striking out 12 and walking 2. Ortolf, Brian Longo and Joe Garrison all doubled.
Saturday, April 11th
Boys Lacrosse (3-2) lost to Washington Township, 7-5
Josh Crego scored 3 times.
Boys Track (0-3) finished 5th at Bridgeton Relays
The lone first place for Ocean City was in the pole vault, where Mike Oberg and Ryan Mazzeo combined to clear 19 feet, 6 inches.
Girls Track (1-2) finished 12th at West Deptford Relays
Thursday, April 9th
Coed Golf (3-0) defeated Vineland, 173-192
Jared Ash shot a 39 at Buena Vista and Brandon Bartley had a 43.
Girls Lacrosse (3-0) defeated Millville, 12-4
Sarah Marcolongo scored 4 goals and Jess Redding added 3 as the Raiders defeated the defending CAL champs.
Boys Lacrosse (3-1) defeated Vineland, 10-5
Josh Crego and Mike Palatano each scored 3 goals.
Baseball (1-2) defeated Oakcrest, 14-0 (6 innings)
Sean Feeney just missed the cycle, smacking a single, triple and grand slam home run. Vinnie Murphy also homered. Winning pitcher Mike Hood tossed a 4-hitter and fanned 8.
Wednesday, April 8th
Girls Lacrosse (2-0) defeated Middle Township, 17-4
Sarah Marcolongo scored 5 goals and had 2 assists, Ashleigh Dinan added 4 goals and Katie Feairheller had 3 goals and 3 assists.
Boys Lacrosse (2-1) defeated Middle Township, 8-4
Josh Crego scored 4 times and Trevor Allen twice.
Softball (1-2) lost to Oakcrest, 10-4
Shannon O'Neill had 3 singles while Gina Favinger had a home run and single.
Tuesday, April 7th
Coed Golf (2-0) defeated Millville, 177-203
Matt Lombardi shot a 40 at Greate Bay with Jared Ash and Joe Massaglia each getting 45.
Boys Lacrosse (1-1) lost to St. Augustine, 17-2
Josh Crego and Trevor Allen scored for the Raiders, who trailed, 14-2, at the half.
Softball (1-1) lost to Hammonton, 10-0 (5 innings)
The Raiders failed to get a hit off Hammonton pitchers Maria Tortorelli and Becca Davis.
Boys Tennis (1-1) defeated Millville, 4-1
OCHS swept the three singles matches, including straight-set wins by Dan Barrus and Brandon George.
Girls Track (0-2) lost to Egg Harbor Township, 72-68
Girls Track (1-2) defeated Vineland, 79-61
The Raiders dominated on the flat track, getting wins in both meets from Kendell Davis in the 200, Becky Canderan in the 400, Jillian Baltz in the 800 and a sweep of the 1600 and 3200 by Anna Ceniccola. Laurie Vogel was also a double winner in the pole vault.
Baseball (0-2) lost to Hammonton, 9-0
Connor Ortolf's double was OC's lone hit off Josh Carty.
Boys Track (0-2) lost to Egg Harbor Township, 88-52
Boys Track (0-3) lost to Vineland, 72-68
Brett Johnson swept the 800 and 1600 against both opponents, Miles Schoedler won twice in the 3200 and Dan Stephenson won the javelin in both meets.

Matt Lombardi shot a 43 at Blue Heron Pines with Jared Ash and Brandon Bartley each carding 44s.

Josh Crego scored six times and Justin Betz made six saves for the shutout.
Girls Lacrosse (1-0) defeated Absegami, 17-0
Katie Feairheller scored three times and Becca Olandt got the shutout.
Softball (1-0) defeated Millville, 4-3
Gina Favinger limited the Thunderbolts to 5 hits and sophomore Meridith Miedama had a double and single to pace OC's 11-hit attack.
Baseball (0-1) lost to Millville, 7-4
Sean Feeney started the season like he left off last year, with a home run, but it wasn't enough. Mike Trout had a homer, double and single for the Thunderbolts.
Boys Track (0-1) lost to Oakcrest, 93-47
Brett Johnson won both the 800 and 1600 meters.
Girls Track (0-1) lost to Oakcrest, 77-63
Anna Ceniccola won the 3200 meters, the only individual win by OCHS on the flat track.
