Girls Track (4-2) defeated Vineland, 98-41
Anna Ceniccola doubled, winning the 1600 and 3200 meters.

OCHS qualified for the NJSIAA Group 3 Tournament after a 2-year
absence. Joe Petrini and Cassidy Walcott were straight-set winners at No. 2 and
No. 3 singles.

Softball (2-8) defeated Middle Township, 6-4 (9 innings)
Shannon O'Neill & Carly Treen delivered RBI hits in the top of the 9th
inning and Gina Favinger set down Middle in order in the bottom of the 9th. O'Neill
had 4 hits, including 2 doubles. Nicole Mangine added 3 singles. Favinger struck out 13
and pitched a 5-hitter. The win ended OC's 7-game losing streak.
Crew at NJ Scholastic Championships
The OCHS girls varsity four was a winner on the Cooper River in Camden.
In the boat were Shawnee Foglio, Alexandra Russo, Alexa Antonioli, Amy Shrader and
coxswain Nicole DeCredico. The boys lightweight eight also won - Pat Lavin, Jeff Buyse,
Chris Stickel, Matt Newsome, Shawn Bryan, John Chester, Adam Cordi, Corey Barnes and
coxswain Chard Rummler.
Friday, April 25th
Boys Lacrosse (5-3) defeated Lower Cape May, 4-1
Jeremiah Bailey, Ethan Gallagher, Drew Jackson and Frank Unger scored.
Girls Lacrosse (6-4) defeated Lower Cape May, 12-10
Nicole Benson, Erin Thomas and Jess Redding each scored 3 goals. The
Raiders rallied from an 8-5 halftime deficit.
Boys Tennis (4-5) at Egg Harbor Township - postponed until 5/6
Thursday, April 24th
Coed Golf (8-3) defeated Oakcrest, 163-206
Coed Golf (9-3) defeated Middle Township, 163-167
OCHS clinched a spot in the NJSIAA Group 3 Tournament. Elisa Mateer
shot a 3-over 39 to lead the Raiders at Blue Heron Pines.
Baseball (2-9) lost to Oakcrest, 10-4
Sean Feeney homered and Alex Troum, Joe Garrison and Vinnie Murphy
each doubled. The Raiders rallied to tie the score, 3-3, in the 5th but the Falcons
got 7 runs over the next 2 innings. The loss eliminated OCHS from NJSIAA Group 3
consideration this season.
Softball (1-8) lost to Oakcrest, 11-2
Brooke Bugni drove in one run with a single and scored the second.
Wednesday, April 23rd
Boys Lacrosse (4-3) lost to St. Augustine, 12-0
Boys Tennis (4-5) at CAL Tournament (Vineland)
Dan Barrus defeated Mainland's Chaz Berenato in straight sets but lost to
defending champion Keith Goldstein of Egg Harbor Township in the semifinals. Goldstein
will play Absegami's Bryan Nguyen for the title. In doubles, the No. 1 teams from St.
Augustine and Mainland will meet in the finals.
Tuesday, April 22nd
Coed Golf (7-3) defeated Millville, 163-187
Matt Lombardi shot a 38, including an eagle, at Cohanzick.
Girls Lacrosse (5-4) lost to Cherry Hill East, 16-6
Nicole Benson and Lacey Nicholl each scored twice.
Boys Track (2-2-1) defeated Atlantic City, 113-26
Brett Johnson, Tim Nickas and Greg Hoyle each doubled. Johnson won
both the 800 and 1600 meters, Nickas took the 200 meters and 400 hurdles and Hoyle finished
first in the 100 meters and 110 hurdles.
Boys Tennis (4-5) at CAL Tournament (Vineland)
Dan Barrus won twice to advance to the 3rd round. The doubles team of
Charlie Nusbaum and Jordan Smith lost a close first round match.
Baseball (2-8) lost to Millville, 12-5
The Raiders had a 4-0 lead in the second inning but a pair of home
runs sparked Millville's comeback. Doubles by Chris Harris and Joe Garrison were OC's
only extra base hits.
Softball (1-7) lost to Millville, 9-0
Kathleen Kleva got two of OC's three hits in the game.

Monday, April 21st
Boys Lacrosse (4-2) defeated Moorestown Friends, 7-6
Josh Crego scored a game winner for the second straight game. His goal
with less than three minutes to play won it. Crego scored three goals for the Raiders
and Drew Jankowski added two.
Coed Golf (6-3) lost to Atlantic City, 163-165
Matt Gallownia shot a 37 under windy conditions at Brigantine Beach.
Boys Tennis (4-5) defeated Vineland, 4-1
Dan Barrus, Joe Petrini and Cassidy Walcott won the singles matches,
Barrus winning in straight sets.

Crew at Manny Flick V (Philadelphia)
The OCHS girls varsity four was a winner on the Schuylkill River in
Philadelphia. In the boat were Shawnee Foglio, Alexandra Russo, Alexa Antonioli,
Amy Shrader and coxswain Nicole DeCredico.

Boys Track (1-2-1) finished 8th at Woodbury Relays
Steve Hoffman, Tim Nickas, Connor Martin and Brett Johnson won the
distance medley.
Girls Track (2-2) finished 10th at Woodbury Relays
Baseball (2-7) lost to Rancocas Valley, 2-1
Connor Ortolf had a pair of singles and Sean Feeney drove home the
only run with a single. Ortolf struck out 5 and limited RV to 6 hits.
Friday, April 18th
Coed Golf (5-2) defeated Lower Cape May, 154-157
Coed Golf (6-2) defeated Cape May Tech, 154-178
Both Matt Lombardi and Justin Heckler shot 37 in the double win at
Stone Harbor.
Girls Lacrosse (5-3) lost to Kingsway, 10-3
Nicole Benson scored with twice.
Baseball (2-6) lost to Atlantic City, 10-7
Connor Ortolf, Sean Feeney and Mike Hood each had a pair of singles
for OC. Tyler Reich hit a double. The Raiders scored 3 in the 7th.
Softball (1-6) lost to Atlantic City, 6-5
The OCHS rally fell one run short in the 7th inning. Gina Favinger and
Shannon O'Neill both tripled for the Raiders.
Thursday, April 17th
Boys Tennis (3-5) defeated Lower Cape May, 4-1
Dan Barrus, Joe Petrini and Cassidy Walcott won the singles matches.
Wednesday, April 16th
Girls Lacrosse (5-2) defeated Our Lady of Mercy, 14-2
Nicole Benson scored with 5 goals and Katie Feairheller got 3.
Coed Golf (4-2) lost to Mainland, 155-165
Justin Heckler shot 40 and Matt Lombardi 41 at the Linwood Country Club.
Boys Lacrosse (3-2) defeated St. Joseph, 6-5
Josh Crego scored his second goal of the game in the final minute
of play for the victory.
Baseball (2-5) lost to Mainland, 5-0
The Raiders managed only one hit by Rutgers-bound Charlie Law, who
struck out 13. Mike Hood fanned seven and limited the Mustangs to 3 hits.
Boys Tennis (2-5) lost to Millville, 3-2
Dan Barrus and Joe Petrini won in straight sets at the top two singles
spots. But Millville swept the doubles and won a tight three-set match at No. 3 singles.
Softball (1-5) lost to Mainland, 3-1
Nicole Mangine had two of OC's four hits. Gina Favinger struck out
6 and limited Mainland to 3 hits. The Raiders hurt themselves with 5 errors.
Tuesday, April 15th
Coed Golf (4-1) lost to Egg Harbor Township, 156-159
Justin Heckler shot 38 and Matt Galownia 39 at Greate Bay as the Raiders suffered
their first loss.
Girls Track (2-2) defeated Absegami, 81-59
Erica Adams won the 100, 200 and long jump for the Raiders.
Boys Tennis (2-4) lost to Hammonton, 4-1
Dan Barrus won at No. 1 singles in straight sets.

Brett Johnson won both the 800 and 1600 meters.
Monday, April 14th
Coed Golf (4-0) at Red Devil Tournament
Elisa Mateer shot an 84 to finish second in this tournament that included
77 of the best girls golfers in the state. Megan Maguire shot a 93 to finish tied for
16th.
Girls Lacrosse (4-2) defeated Middle Township, 7-6 5OT
Nicole Benson scored with 5 seconds left in the 5th overtime for the win.
Erin Thomas got 3 goals for OCHS.
Boys Lacrosse (2-2) defeated Middle Township, 10-5
Josh Crego scored four goals and Drew Jankowski added three.
Boys Tennis (2-3) defeated Oakcrest, 4-1
Dan Barrus, Joe Petrini and Cassidy Walcott won the singles matches in
straight sets.
Baseball (2-4) defeated Egg Harbor Township, 1-0 (8 innings)
The Raiders loaded the bases without a hit in the 8th, then scored when
Sean Feeney's two-out ground ball was misplayed. Connor Ortolf pitched seven shutout
innings, striking out 10 and allowing just 3 hits. Chris Harris pitched a hitless 8th
for the win. Harris and Feeney both doubled for OC's only two hits.
Softball (1-4) lost to Egg Harbor Township, 10-0 (5 innings)
Singles by Gina Favinger and Carly Treen were the lone OCHS hits.

Crew at Manny Flick IV (Philadelphia)
The OCHS boys varsity eight won its heat. In the boat were Chris Stickel,
Alex Petrella, Chase Petrella, Tyler Huck, Tyler Lawlor, Richie Fredericks, Nick Buyse,
Angelo Camano and coxswain Chad Rumer. The girls second eight also finished first. They
were Lianne Previti, Devon Vanderslice, Carly Dierolf, Robin Bourgeois, Kaitlyn Rupert,
Shannon O'Donnell, Kelsey Garbutt, Kelly McKee and coxswain Devon O'Brien.

Drew Jankowski scored all five of Ocean City's goals.

Brooke Bugni's single was the only hit for the Raiders who were shut out
for the 3rd time.

Mike Hood pitched a two-hitter and Tyler Reich's double was the game's

Leanna Miller pitched a no-hitter for the Clan.

Matt Lombardi shot 36, Matt Galownia 37 and Joe Massaglia 39 at Greate Bay.
The Raiders set a school record for the lowest team score.
Girls Lacrosse (2-1) lost to Clearview, 15-9
Lacey Nicholl scored three goals and Nicole Benson added two.
Baseball (1-2) lost to Vineland, 13-8
Sean Feeney homered, Vinnie Murphy hit a triple and Connor Ortolf doubled.
Vineland took the lead with an 8-run fourth inning.

Dan Barrus won a three-set match at No. 1 singles and the first doubles
team of Jordan Smith and Charlie Nusbaum also won. Joe Petrini nearly pulled out the team
win before losing a tight, three-set battle at No. 2 singles.

Steve Hoffman, Tim Nickas, Miles Schoedler and Brett Johnson won the
distance medley. Nickas, Joe Bonato, Greg Hoyle and Johnson won the sprint medley.

Girls Lacrosse (2-0) defeated Millville, 9-8
Nicole Benson scored three goals.
Golf (1-0) finished 5th in Garden State Cup
Junior Matt Lombardi tied for 8th with an 81 at Blue Heron Pines.
Boys Tennis (1-1) defeated Absegami, 4-1
Joe Petrini got a straight set win at No. 2 singles and the Raiders won
both doubles matches in straight sets.
Thursday, April 3rd
Baseball (1-1) lost to Lower Cape May, 15-14
Vinnie Murphy had a home run and a triple. Ryan Beebe also tripled with
Sean Feeney, Colin Norton and Matt Calise adding doubles. The Raiders hurt themselves
with 5 errors.
Softball (1-1) defeated Lower Cape May, 4-3
Kayla Iannace and Shannon O'Neill had RBI singles in OC's three-run rally
in the bottom of the 7th. The Raiders ended the top of the 7th with a triple play - Nicole
Mangine to O'Neill to Theresa Iannace. Winning pitcher Gina Favinger struck out 5, limited
Lower to 3 hits and did not allow an earned run.
Wednesday, April 2nd
Boys Lacrosse (1-0) defeated Lower Cape May, 8-1
Josh Crego scored three times.
Girls Lacrosse (1-0) defeated Lower Cape May, 14-3
Nicole Benson and Sarah Marcolongo each scored three goals.
Boys Tennis (0-1) lost to Egg Harbor Township, 4-1
The second doubles team of Justin Sheppard and Jordan Smith were straight set
winners.

Connor Ortolf pitched 6 innings and smacked a single and double. Chris
Harris pitched the last inning for the save. Sean Feeney and Tyler Reich each doubled.

Joe Massaglia shot a 37 and Justin Heckler a 39 at Greate Bay.
Boys Track (0-0-1) tied Millville, 70-70
Brett Johnson won the 800, 1600 and anchored the winning 4x400 relay
team. Tim Nickas won the 400 and ran the first leg of the relay.
