Marshall Jones ran for 174 yards & 2 TDs as the Vikings clinched a home game in the 1st round of the Group 4 playoffs. Charles Patterson ran for 108 yards & a touchdown.
Egg Harbor Township 33, Absegami 28
Pierre Reid & Jeremiah Santiago combined for 232 yards rushing & 5 TDs and EHT built an early lead. Gami rallied in the 2nd half and had the ball as the game ended. Mike Isgro threw 50 passes for 362 yards and 2 TDs.
Mainland 24, Vineland 6
Matt Flynn threw for 251 yards & 3 TDs, two of them to Jason Begleiter.
Oakcrest at Ocean City
Jim Crowley scored twice, including a 90-yard kickoff return. George Coccodrilli also scored twice for the Raiders. OC sophomore A.J. Harris ran for 141 yards & a TD. Oakcrest QB Chuck Core connected with Jeremiah Poindexter twice for TDs, covering 123 yards.
Holy Spirit 35, Bridgeton 28
Andrew Clayton ran for 187 yards & scored a 4th quarter TD that ended the Bridgeton rally. QB Gabe Guerrieri scored twice for Spirit, which clinched the No. 1 seed in the Parochial 2 playoffs with the victory. Rashan Williams had 210 yards & 3 TDs for the Bulldogs.
Middle Township 33, Pleasantville 8
C.J. Palmer did it all. He ran for 147 yards & a TD. He caught a TD pass. He returned a punt 90 yards for a score. And he brought back an interception 61 yards for a TD. Davon Edwards added 184 yards & a TD.
St. Augustine 51, Lower Cape May 21
Rich Ryan scored 2 TDs in a game filled with highlights. Mike Albert ran 75 yards for a Prep TD. Lower's Matt Szczur returned a kickoff 98 yards for a score. And the Tigers' Eric Halbruner kicked 2 field goals.
Saturday November 6
St. Joseph 38, Buena 0
Richard White ran for 138 yards & 3 TDs. Buena QB Anthony Carlini threw for 127 yards but was intercepted twice, one for a TD by John Clements.
