Steve Hevalow ran for 159 yards and scored all 3 Gami TDs, one on a pass from Mark Schenauer.

Chris Helm rushed for 144 yards and both Hammonton scores.

Ed Cisrow threw a pair of second half TDs for the Bulldogs, including a 54-yarder to Steve Fortune.
Non-Public 3: Holy Spirit 21, Hudson Catholic 6
William Washington ran for 172, setting a new school season rushing record, and scored three TDs.
Non-Public 2: St. Joseph 48, Morris Catholic 7
Richard White scored three touchdowns and Charles Curcio added two as the Wildcats opened a 48-0 lead at halftime and coasted to their 28th straight win.
Consolation: St. Augustine 27, Paul VI 24
Dustin Thomas threw for 265 yards and a pair of TDs to Josh Thompson, including the game-winner covering 81 yards in the game's final play.

Kevin Brown ran for 122 yards and two TDs while the ACHS defense limited Absegami to 10 yards rushing.
Hammonton 31, Millville 12
Chris Helm ran for 211 yards and three TDs as the Blue Devils clinched at least a tie for the American Conference title.
Mainland 14, Vineland 7
Brent Caprio passed to Kyle Davis for one Mustang score and Ron Moody ran for the other.

Craig James scored one TD and passed for another.

Bill Alston caught a TD pass from Mike Rebecca, his 1st touchdown of the season, with 2:22 left in the game for the win.

The Tigers assured themselves of their first-ever home playoff game. Matt Szczur ran for 144 yards and Mike Albert had 96 yards and 3 TDs. Mike Gamble had 108 yards and 2 TDs for Buena.

Friday October 27
Atlantic City 35, Ocean City 8
ACHS scored the last 28 points of the game after OC took an 8-7 lead. Todd Busler threw 3 TD passes, one to Dante Bailey, who also scored on defense.
Hammonton 19, Mainland 7
Chris Helm had 203 yards and three TDs.
Vineland 6, Oakcrest 0
Qori Brown returned an interception for a TD in the 4th quarter. It was Vineland's 4th defensive touchdown, tops in the CAL.
Buena 22, Middle Township 19
Marco Corolla scored one TD and passed for another.
Holy Spirit 28, Bridgeton 0
William Washington had 197 yards rushing and scored twice. The Spirit defense limited Bridgeton to 78 yards of offense.
Lower Cape May 21, Pleasantville 7
Matt Szczur scored three TDs as Lower clinched its first playoff spot since 1980.

Touchdown runs by Steve Hevalow and Mark Schenauer in the 4th quarter pulled Gami away from the Eagles. Hevalow had 143 yards and 2 TDs.

Markeith LaRoda ran for 116 yards and three TDs.

Absegami 42, Ocean City 28
Gami returned 2 blocked kicks for TDs and Steve Hevalow ran for a pair. Mark Schenauer scored a TD and threw one. The Harris brothers scored all of OC's touchdowns - A.J. ran for 2, Chris caught 2 from Adam Lauer.
Atlantic City 19, Millville 8
Kevin Brown scored a pair of touchdowns and the Viking defense went its 2nd straight game without allowing a TD. Millville scored when Ed Taylor ran with a fumble.
Hammonton 27, Oakcrest 6
Christian Helm scored twice and Anthony Barone returned an interception for a TD. Chuck Core brought an interception back 67 yards for an Oakcrest touchdown.
Vineland 35, Egg Harbor Township 8
The Clan scored 3 defensive touchdowns, 2 of them by Travis Scholar, to even their season record.

Derek Powell & Dominique Williams each scored TDs as the Bulldogs locked up a Group 2 playoff spot..

William Washington went over the 1,000 yard mark in rushing and scored his 14th TD. A.J. Holland passed for 2 Spirit scores.

Steve Hevalow rushed for 126 yards and 4 TDs as the Braves scored the final 21 points of the game.

Marc Heil's 2-yard run in the 2nd quarter was the game's only TD. Chris Malick kicked a 27-yard FG, giving him 116 career kicking points, an all-time CAL record.
Hammonton 28, Egg Harbor Township 8
Christian Helm rushed for 97 yards and 2 TDs while the Blue Devil defense intercepted 5 EHT passes.
Ocean City 15, Millville 12
A.J. Harris scored twice in the 2nd half as OCHS rallied from a 12-0 deficit. The Raiders turned the ball over 5 times.
Holy Spirit 38, St. Augustine 0
William Washington picked up 264 yards and 4 touchdowns.
Pleasantville 29, Middle Township 13
Khalif Wilson scored 3 TDs and Scott Gadfrey gained 101 yards.

Dominique Williams ran for 150 yards, scored a TD and passed for a TD.

Richard White scored 3 touchdowns, Charles Curcio gained 124 yards and 2 TDs (including a punt return) and Markeith LaRoda rushed for 110 yards and a score. St. Joe extended its win streak to 24, now the 2nd longest in CAL history (Millville-31).

Steve Hevalow ran for 102 yards and two TDs.
Mainland 7, Ocean City 6
Chris Malick's extra point with 3:55 left was the difference. Mainland coverted 4 fourth downs during the final drive.
Hammonton 27, Vineland 7
Anthony Barone ran for one TD and caught another. Herb Storey threw 2 TDs for the Devils.
Lower Cape May 27, Holy Spirit 22
Mike Albert ran 82 yards for a 4th quarter TD to win it. It was his 2nd score of the game. William Washington had 210 yards & a TD for Spirit, which suffered its 1st defeat.
Bridgeton 51, St. Augustine 22
Dominique Williams ran for 202 yards and 4 TDs. including an interception return.

Steve Hevalow ran for 125 yards and a TD. QB Mark Schenauer threw for 118 yards and a TD. Hammonton was limited to 19 yards rushing but freshman Josh Baez scored.
Atlantic City 19, Egg Harbor Township 14
Todd Busler connected with Karl Moore for a 60-yard score in the 4th quarter for Bob Weiss' 100th victory at Atlantic City.
Mainland 30, Millville 20
Mustang sophomore Brenton Caprio threw for 178 yards & 3 TDs and ran for the other two scores. Sophomore Kyle Davis caught all three touchdowns. The Bolts' Tim Ahlquist passed for 140 yards & 2 TDs.
Ocean City 42, Oakcrest 20
A.J. Harris ran for 228 yards & 3 TDs. Ocean City also turned a pair of turnovers into scores. Oakcrest QB Chuck Core threw for 196 yards and 2 TDs.
Bridgeton 34, Pleasantville 6
Ed Cisrow threw 3 touchdowns for the Bulldogs. Steve Fortune returned a punt for a TD, his 2nd of the year.
Holy Spirit 44, Middle Township 13
William Washington rushed for 185 yards & 3 TDs. Marcus Witherspoon added two scores for Spirit. Middle QB Nolan Quinn threw a pair of touchdowns to James Wolf.
Lower Cape May 19, St. Augustine 16 2OT
Mike Albert's 15 yard run in the second overtime possession decided the action. Prep QB Dustin Thomas threw for 129 yards & a TD and also ran for a score.

Richard White and Charles Curcio each ran for two TDs. Norman White scored with a pass and an interception return.

Absegami 20, Mainland 16
Steve Hevalow ran for 167 yards and the game-winning TD in the fourth quarter. Mainland was at the Gami 11 when the game ended.
Millville 28, Oakcrest 21
Running back Anthony Brown scored a pair of fourth quarter TDs for the Thunderbolts. QB Chuck Core threw for 152 yards for Oakcrest.
Ocean City 20, Egg Harbor Township 17
Running back A.J. Harris (194 yards) and QB Adam Lauer (151) each scored once for the Raiders. Jarid Ragin had 104 yds & a TD for EHT.
Buena 27, Pleasantville 0
Mike Gamble scored twice and QB Marco Carolla threw for 147 yards and 2 TDs. The Greyhounds' Scott Godfrey rushed for 126 yards.
Vineland 10, Middle Township 7
Sean Bowman ran for the game-winning TD in the final four minutes. Rex Romano kicked a 34-yard field goal.
Lower Cape May 17, Woodstown 6
QB Matt Szczur rushed for 160 yards & a TD. Eric Halbruner ran for 103 yards & a TD, also kicking a 26-yard field goal.

Richard White and MarKeith LaRoda each scored twice as the 'Cats won their 22nd straight and handed Bridgeton its 1st loss.

Jarid Ragin rushed for 111 yards & 2 TDs to spark the win.
Hammonton 15, Atlantic City 12
QB Herb Storey hit Anthony Barone with a 36-yard TD pass in the 4th quarter to complete Hammonton's come-from-behind win.
Mainland 13, Oakcrest 7
Brent Caprio hit John Dickerson with a 15-yard TD pass in the 2nd quarter that gave the Mustangs a 13-7 lead at intermission.
Vineland 13, Ocean City 7
The Clan scored on Sean Bowman's 68-yard run and a 20-yarder by Deon Mutcherson.
Bridgeton 19, Lower Cape May 7
Dominique Williams rushed for 128 yards & a TD. Matt Szczur had 237 yards rushing & a score for Lower.
Holy Spirit 24, Buena 7
William Washington ran for 193 yards & 3 touchdowns. Buena QB Marco Carolla passed for 118 yards & ran for a touchdown.
St. Augustine 28, Middle Township 13
Freshman QB Dustin Thomas passed for 124 yards and scored two second half touchdowns to decide the first-ever battle between Prep coach Dennis Scuderi and his son, Dennis, who is Middle's head coach. Prep freshman running back Darnell Laws ran for 144 yards and a score.
St. Joseph 35, Pleasantville 6 Richard White ran for 88 yards and 2 TDs as the Wildcats stretched their win streak to 21 games.

A first period safety turned out to be the difference. AC also scored on Jamir Harmon's 60-yard punt return.
Hammonton 28, Ocean City 7
The Blue Devils made their debut in the American Conference a success. Junior QB Herb Storey was 9 for 12 for 189 yards and 3 TDs, 2 of them to Anthony Barone.
Bridgeton 25, Middle Township 0
QB Ed Cisrow threw for 2 TDs, one of them to Steve Fortune, who also scored with a punt return. Dominique Williams rushed for 189 yards.
Absegami 35, Pleasantville 7
Mark Schenauer, an All-South Jersey receiver last year, is now the Gami QB. He scored a pair of TDs and threw two more.
Holy Spirit 33, Mainland 18
The great rivalry series resumed with Spirit's William Washington rushing for 145 yards & 2 TDs. Mainland sophomore QB Brenton Caprio ran for 132 yards & 2 TDs and also passed for 118 yards & a TD.
Millville 46, Buena 13
Millville grad Tom Wickward made his first game as head coach at his alma mater a win. Anthony Brown, Chris Church & Ed Holland each scored 2 times.
Lower Cape May 17, Penn Wood PA 14
Eric Halburner's 20 yard field goal in the 3rd quarter was the difference but Phil Peterson's TD run in the 4th quarter put Lower in control, 17-7. Halbruner also scored a TD and kicked 2 extra points.
Saturday September 9
Oakcrest 26, St. Augustine 20
QB Chuck Core broke a 20-20 tie with a 3-yard touchdown run in the final 2 minutes. Bryant Gates rushed for 127 yards & 2 TDs as rookie coach Scott Parker got his 1st win.
St. Joseph 33, New Brunswick 14
Markeith LaRoda ran for 127 yards & 2 TDs to help the Wildcats rally from a 14-0 deficit to win their 20th straight. Charles Curcio also scored twice.
